More Than I Am

I reach out at first tentatively
unsure of what I am reaching for
at one moment I am petrified and delighted
feeling fear but still moving forward

becoming more than I am is beautiful
expanding what I believe I can be
stepping up and stepping out is wonderful
realizing how much more I can be

I see the path that calls out to me
not exactly how I pictured it
but growing and moving one step at a time
magical, the way the pieces fit
